What Is summerXchange?

summerXchange is a 40 day journey in the life of InnerCHANGE. Here are some of the things you’ll do:

join a team of interns
live in a poor neighborhood
learn from a mentor
experience InnerCHANGE formation
practice the InnerCHANGE commitments
and rest up on a mid-summer retreat

The main purpose of summerXchange is to allow you to participate in the life of an InnerCHANGE team. This may include joining with an active team in their ministry location, working alongside an InnerCHANGE partner ministry, or even helping InnerCHANGE explore a new ministry site.

Dates and Cost
Specific dates vary from year to year, but the typical summerXchange term takes place between June and August. The 40 day period starts and ends in San Francisco with orientation and debrief.

Costs for 2012 will be $1600 per intern regardless of site
